Our goal is supporting widows and dependents.

Beauty for Ashes Ministry International's (BFAMI/BFAWCM) primary focus is to provide support to widows and their dependents in the different areas of need in their lives with the view to equipping them to be self-reliant, independent, and productive members of society. We exist to bring light into places of grief and loss. Every scholarship, prayer, gift, and word of encouragement echoes our core belief:

A word from our founder

  • Mrs. Comfort Bogunjoko, RN, BSN, MSc

    Mrs Comfort Bogunjoko RN, BSN, M.Sc., is the president of Beauty For Ashes Ministry International (BFAMI), the parent body of Beauty For Ashes Widows Care Ministry (BFAWCM), Nigeria. Mrs Bogunjoko was widowed multiple times and, as such, knows what it means to lose a spouse. From the pains and victories, highs and lows of widowhood, God raised her to take care of fellow widows specifically. She has embraced this call wholeheartedly and passionately for over 7 years. Mrs Bogunjoko is deeply passionate about putting smiles on the faces of widows and their dependents, desiring to make life worth living for them. To this end, she ceaselessly seeks support, partnership, and collaboration with individuals, various organizations, and governmental agencies

What We Have Done So Far

Beauty For Ashes Ministry International (BFAMI/BFAWCM) is a proven lifeline for widows and their children. With God's help and the generosity of partners, we’ve already:

- Awarded 113+ scholarships over the last 3 years to keep children in school

- Helped widows launch and grow small businesses.

- Provided safe housing and rent support

- Covered some medical expenses

- Built a thriving community of over 120 widows

- Offered spiritual care, prayer, teaching and personal counseling - Brought joy and support each Christmas to these families in need

At Beauty For Ashes Ministry International (BFAMI/BFAWCM), we’re on a mission to transform the lives of widows and their children— spiritually, emotionally, and economically.
Our Next Steps:

- Educate 100 Children annually through full scholarships.

- Empower 100 Widows to launch or grow businesses, breaking the cycle of poverty.

- Expand Support for essentials like rent, food, healthcare, and transport.

- Strengthen Infrastructure to serve more efficiently with trained staff, better tools, and wider outreach. Your partnership makes this possible.
